Tropical Storm Isaias

Just an FYI, if I have internet or power issues the site won’t update since the modeling computer is here in Wilmington. The site itself is run from a cloud bucket, so it should be available but with old data.
Southern NC through SC
Isaias has been churning up the waters to our south for quite a while now, so even after it moves through there should be some waves left over for Tuesday. The wind looks like it may cooperate for a short while, and only on east facing beaches. South facing beaches are forecast to be side-shore most of the day.

Outer Banks through Central NC
South of Cape Hatteras looks like a windy mess tomorrow. Cleanup there won’t happen until Wednesday. Hatteras Island should be fairly clean with stiff offshore winds. North of Oregon Inlet, the wind should be a little lighter with the size a little smaller.

Check the map for your spot.
Stay safe. Happy surfing.
