5 Day Forecasts

I’ve upgraded the modeling computer, and now have the capability to run a 5 day forecast. Three days was just not cutting it when you’re trying to plan your week. The additional capacity should allow me add new areas in the not too distant future.

 

Spot Chart

You’ll notice there is now a bar chart in the top left, and a circle which will appear in the center of the map upon load. Clicking on other areas where there is surf will update the chart with data from that location.

 

 

This should allow a quick glance at your local spot without having to manipulate the time slider and layers. It is still a bit buggy if you click on areas that don’t have breaking surf but I felt it worked well enough to release. In the future, I plan on adding the ability to look at other layers such as swell/wind/tide.

 

The other layers are still available, but collapsed under a layer icon on the right.
